Developing a Personal Relationship with God, R. Hog

As a third generation Christian I am very grateful that the Lord has preserved me during my high school and college years. As an Economics student at UCLA, I not only at times found myself a part of the fast-paced and superficial cosmopolitan society, but also attracted to the hopes and aspirations of having a successful career. Nevertheless, God led me to consecrate myself to Him, and to come to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) to learn Bible truths and to be trained to be useful to the Lord and to serve Him. Here in the FTTA I am encouraged to develop a personal, intimate, and affectionate relationship with God. As time passes, I find myself turning more and more to the Lord and depending on Him as my life (John 11:29) and life supply (John 10:10) for big things, little things, pleasant situations, and difficult circumstances. However, I realize that there is still lots of room for me to develop my relationship with God. Hence, I continue to consecrate myself to the Lord to be trained in the FTTA.
